Over the years, Sasha Banks has exceeding raised the bar for women in WWE by showing equal athleticism as the men in WWE. Mercedes Varnado, Charlotte Becky Lynch and the new era of women in WWE partake in gruesome matches designed and set aside for men. The chemistry between the WWE superstars, from feuds to personalities and in-ring performances.

Sasha Banks and Charlotte Flair have actively been a part of most of the evolution of the women’s division in WWE. Beginning their time in NXT and progressing with the first WWE, all women’s pay-per-view event Evolution, to every other big win they have accomplished for themselves and the women in WWE; Whether they were the headline athletes, the winners or the loser. Sasha and Charlotte Flair are future halls of fame inductees.

In a conversation with WWE veteran Stone Cold Steve Austin, Mercedes Varnado opened up about her break from WWE. She acknowledged that it was because she fell into depression. Furthermore, credited getting through this very dark phase in her life by going back to her roots in wrestling. Taking a few months away from professional wrestling in WWE to get reacquainted with traditional wrestling in Japan.

Her quest for something new also leads her to try acting. Sasha expressed her desire to establish a career outside of WWE. According to her, she got the call to feature in the Star Wars, the Mandalorian at the right time. WWE Superstar Sasha Banks made her debut in the Star Wars universe last year by appearing in two episodes of The Mandalorian as Koska Reeves. A role she embodied as a true warrior.

Mercedes took a six-month-long break from WWE. She returned to WWE SmackDown Live and became the first woman’s tag team champion with her best friend, Bailey. Together, Sasha and Bailey became dual champions.
