Anthony Joshua wins Jake Paul by 6th-round KO. Joshua won the fight in the sixth round when he knocked out Paul. Even though the Jake Paul vs. Anthony Joshua fight was a predictable one, Jake Paul lasted longer than many expected, especially since Anthony Joshua considered ending the match in seconds. Suffered the second loss of his career, and first by KO, when former unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua stopped him at the Kaseya Center in Miami on Friday.

Jake Paul Talks About His Broken Jaws and Returning to the Ring

The pair seems to have gained a whole new level of respect for each other, as in his first interview with Ariel Helwani, Jake Paul admitted, “Anthony is a great fighter.”

“I’m feeling good. That was fun. I love this sport, and I had a blast… Anthony is a great fighter. I got my ass beat, but that’s what this sport is all about. This sport has helped me so much — I think my jaw is broken, by the way.”

Jake also discussed his visible injuries while declining to name his next opponent, saying he will have a short break from the sport while he recovers. When asked about his future in the sport, Paul replies:

“We’re going to heal the broken jaw, [then] come back and fight people my weight and go for the cruiserweight world title.”
