Burna Boy Clarifies His Net Worth, and It’s More Than $28M

Burna Boy’s net worth continues to spark discussion among fans and onlookers. This is fueled by his display of millions of dollars’ worth of jewelry, private jets, and other luxury assets. In fact, one of the biggest stories of 2025 was the millions of naira in a car gift he promised to Nigerian socialite and businesswoman Sophia Egbueje. All capped with over a billion naira worth of car gifts to his associate, King Manny. It is fair game for fans to ask: how much does Burna Boy make, and how much is the global success—and one of Afrobeats’ biggest exports—worth?

Burna Boy Reacts to $22M Net Worth Claim

Burna Boy’s Net Worth

According to Google, Burna Boy has an estimated net worth of $28 million in 2025. However, during a 2023 episode of Complex’s 360 with Speedy, Burna Boy (although he did not give an exact number) disagreed when Speedy asked, “…Google search says your net worth is $22 million. Is that accurate?”

Burna chuckled as Speedy asked and continued to laugh before answering. “Let’s not talk about that one.” Adding that he “prefers them to think that—that’s cool.”

When Speedy asked if he was going to let his fans think that, Burna replied, “Yeah, I like that one,” but also went on to clarify that the estimate was “way off.”

This is not the first time the Afrobeats singer has clarified or spoken about his net worth. In May 2020, when Forbes estimated his net worth at $3.5 million, he reacted to the report that claimed he was worth N1.3 billion via Twitter:

“That won’t even buy my cars.”

Burna Boy’s “I Told Them” Tour Breaks Afrobeats Revenue Records

According to data shared by Touring Data on Dec. 29, 2025, Burna Boy’s “I Told Them” tour is now the highest-grossing tour by any Afrobeats artist in history.

This is coming despite the controversy surrounding the tour and Burna Boy being on the verge of being canceled for kicking a fan out of his show, and the backlash that followed. The data showed that Burna Boy earned $30.5 million after selling 302,801 tickets across 21 shows.

While the “I Told Them” tour earnings do not equate to Burna Boy’s entire net worth, the report shared by the tour monitoring platform gives fans insight into his earnings. Additionally, this places him at the top of African artists, at least where tour revenue is concerned.

To determine Burna Boy’s net worth, other income streams (such as streaming revenue, album sales, appearances, endorsements, and business investments) would need to be considered.

Regardless, as an artist and performer, Burna Boy’s achievements are far from shabby and certainly worth bragging about.
