Getting asked if there is an African big brother is probably the most ridiculous question ever. Of course, there is an African Big Brother, the franchise launched in Africa in 1997 and aired in 2003. The Big Brother franchise is one of the most expected, watched, and entertaining shows in Africa. The Big Brother 9ja franchise has to be the flag show that brings most of Africa together through debate, mutual support, and entertainment.

African Big Brother is not one of the top five reality television shows in Europe, but in Africa, it is The Show!!! Big Brother in Africa debuted with Big Brother Africa, which brought contestants from Ghana, South Africa, Nigeria, Kenya, and more. Big Brother Africa had a run for nine seasons with Ikponmwosa Osakioduwa As its host for six of the seasons.
