iPhone 15 Pro ‘Action’ Button to Replace Role of Volume Buttons

iPhone 15 Pro ‘Action’ Button to Replace Role of Volume Buttons When Performing a Power Off/Force Restart!!! Check out those new features of the new iPhone.

An anonymous source who claims to have details about the upcoming iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max models has revealed that a new combination of button presses will be introduced to power off and force restart the devices.

According to an anonymous source known as @analyst941 on Twitter, the upcoming iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max will reportedly feature a new method for powering off and performing a hard reset. On current models such as the iPhone 14, users must press the Side button and either volume button to power off or hard reset. However, with the expected removal of the mute switch in favor of a customizable “Action” button, this new button will be used in place of the volume buttons for these functions on the iPhone 15 Pro models.

The iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max models

According to an anonymous leaker known as @analyst941 on Twitter, the upcoming iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max models will introduce a new button press combination to power off and force restart the devices. Instead of using the volume up and power buttons, users will use the “Action” button and power button for these functions. Additionally, the “Action” button will replace the volume up button for taking photos in the Camera app, with force-sensitivity enabling different functions depending on the pressure applied.

However, there are conflicting reports about the inclusion of Force Touch sensitive functions, with some sources suggesting that Apple has encountered technical issues with capacitive buttons and will delay them for a later version of the iPhone. Despite this, @analyst941 disputes this claim and believes the functions are still coming to the iPhone 15 Pro.

It is also worth noting that a unified volume button was planned for solid-state technology. However, Apple has opted to stick with the current design as solid-state buttons have been delayed. I just love how they change how buttons and their combinations work every 5 to 10 business days. It’s weird that people can’t turn off their phones by holding “side” (aka power) button…This. I actually had to look it up the first time. Completely insane.Intuition completely thrown out the window.

Ughh I need a MUTE switch not some button that gets inadvertently pushed all the time. I already have enough screenshots I don’t want.

Beautiful…as long as the software is top notch, this is the way moving forward
