Mohamad Manga, Manga Motors CEO, Praises the Police After Recovering Stolen Vehicle Loaded with Guns

Abuja car dealer, Mohamad Manga, CEO of Manga Motors, has narrated a dramatic incident that unfolded in Garki, Abuja, earlier this week.

According to Manga, the ordeal began when a close friend, Khaly Autos, who is also a car dealer, informed him that one of his vehicles had been stolen in Garki. What followed was a high-speed chase that reportedly stretched from Garki through Gwarimpa and all the way to Zuba.

Manga revealed that after a tense pursuit, he and his friend managed to collide with the stolen vehicle, forcing it off the road and successfully recovering it. In a shocking twist, they discovered two guns and a mobile phone inside the car after the crash.

Manga took to social media to thank the Nigerian Police Force for their swift response and support.

“So guys, today I have recovered two weapons. Let me just show you how it happened,” he said in a video shared online.

Mohamad Manga Commends Police After Recovering Stolen Car in Abuja

After recovering the car, Manga said they made a startling discovery: two guns and a mobile phone were found inside the stolen vehicle.

Manga went on to commend the Nigerian Police Force, particularly DCP Sharu and IRT officer Victor, for their attention to the matter and professionalism. The CEO of Manga Motors added that, “The police were not only helpful but also very happy with what we did. Honestly, police people are nice when you’re nice to them. It’s not all police that are bad. They were really proud of us.”

In a heartfelt message to his followers, Manga urged residents to remain vigilant and prioritize their safety amid the rising crime in Abuja. “Abuja is not safe. In the blink of an eye, these people can kill you and take your phone,” he warned.

He ended his message by reminding everyone to stay vigilant and be kind, emphasizing that life and safety are far more important than material possessions.

“All these worldly things are meaningless, we will all die one day.”

Rising Insecurity in the Capital

This incident comes shortly after the armed robbery that claimed the life of Arise TV news anchor, Soma, during an attack at her Katampe residence in Abuja. The tragedy adds to a growing number of criminal activities in the Federal Capital Territory — not just petty crimes but also alarming cases of “one chance” robberies and violent assaults.

With these disturbing reports emerging one after another, residents of Abuja are becoming increasingly concerned and vigilant, questioning whether the nation’s capital is truly as safe as it is often portrayed to be. As security challenges continue to rise, many are calling for stronger law enforcement efforts and community awareness to restore confidence and ensure public safety.
