Mercy Eke has always been an iconic fashionista, and during an interview on January 17, 2026 with Odira Ndubuaku, the reality TV star revealed that her wardrobe alone is might be worth an estimated ₦4 billion.
Mercy was a guest on blogger Odira Ndubuaku’s YouTube show, where she opened up about her inspiring grass-to-grace journey. She spoke candidly about her humble beginnings, recalling how her mother sold food at a mama put stall, to eventually winning the coveted Big Brother Naija reality show.
Beyond her BBN win, Mercy noted that she has strategically capitalized on her fame, building multiple businesses and securing several high-profile endorsement deals.
As part of the interview with Odira Ndubuaku, popularly known as MostBooked, was also given a tour of Mercy Eke’s Ikoyi home. Mercy Eke gave fans a glimpse into her living space, and one area that stood out was Mercy Eke’s“mini closet.”
At first glance, fans couldn’t miss rows of luxury shoes and designer handbags, including high-end pieces such as Birkin bags, and when asked to place a value on her collection to shoes and bags, Mercy Eke said, “if someone gives me like [Naira] 4billion right now, i’ll sell.” She went on to clarify the net worth of her closet saying:
“Yeah, it’s not about the money, it’s about the love, the care, the spirit, the intention of getting — It’s not just about the money, so like, it’s priceless because most of these bags, you can’t even get it right now. You know what I’m saying? Yeah, so it’s not about the money, but with 4 billion, I can... think about it. All right.”
Mercy also addressed the most surprising things she has heard about herself online and how she deals with negative rumors. According to her, some of the most surprising things she has heard are claims that she is married and pregnant.
“The most surprising thing I’ve ever heard was that I was married.. when you you go to Google right now, you’ll even see it, Mercy is married. Sometimes they also say I’m pregnant…” she said.
While on the topic, Mercy Eke also took the chance to debunk claims about her alleged marriage and pregnancy rumors . You’d recall Mercy Eke’s post on Juanury 1, 2025 went viral post because it was mistaken for a pregnancy shoot and announcement.
Reacting to these claims, Mercy Eke stated:
“They think I’ll get married… They think I’ll hide my marriage—excuse me, I won’t hide my marriage. They will hear it, you will see it, you’ll feel it.”
Before Mercy Eke entered the Big Brother Naija house, she worked as a model and video vixen. Some of the most popular music videos featuring Mercy Eke include Rudeboy’s “Take It”, Big Baller, by Flavour, which had a star-studded lineup including Cubana Chiefpriest, Ezinne Akudo, Chioma Ikokwu, and Nasty C. She also appeared in Dr Dolor’s “I Go Pay” music video, released on September 4, 2020.
In 2019, Mercy Eke participated in Big Brother Naija: Pepper Dem and emerged the winner, walking away with ₦30 million cash, a ₦25 million Innoson SUV, a trip to Dubai, and other prizes. Following her win, she capitalized on the platform, securing endorsement deals with several brands, including Oppo Mobile, Hawaii, and others. Mercy Ike briefly appeared on a reality TV show alongside her then-partner, Ike Onyema. The show titled “Mercy and Ike” premiered in Nigeria on April 26, 2020.
The reality TV star has also invested in several businesses, including her real estate company Lambo Homes and her fashion brand MNM Luxury.
Mercy Eke has also dabbled in acting. She was famously cast in Ini Edo’s Shanty Town and appeared in one of Sam Maurice’s latest Nollywood movies on YouTube, Sleepy Head.
