Tiwa Savage, Burna Boy and Davido nominated for a NAACP Image Award
The NAACP Awards nominations are out, and Tiwa Savage, Burna Boy, and Davido have every reason to celebrate and brag about their hard work. Afrobeats stars Tiwa Savage, Burna Boy, and Davido are set to add another accolade to their growing collections after earning nominations at the 2026 NAACP Image Awards.
The trio received nominations in the Outstanding International Song category for some of their most popular songs released in 2025. Burna Boy’s “Love”, Tiwa Savage’s “ME 4 U”, and Davido’s “With You” are all in contention.
With award season in full swing, artists and creatives around the world are putting their best fashion foot forward as they prepare to be celebrated for their work over the past year. While the Golden Globe Awards have already concluded, the Grammys are scheduled to take place on February 1, 2026.
In the meantime, the NAACP has released its list of nominees across various categories. The prestigious organization was established to honor excellence among African and African-American creatives, making this recognition especially significant for the Afrobeats community.
