The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board, represented by its spokesperson, Anthony Akuneme, has issued a statement regarding the application process for job seekers.
The Board urges all applicants who have applied for positions within the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) and Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) to promptly visit the Board’s dedicated portal at cdcfib.career.
The purpose of this visit is to verify their application status and ascertain whether their applications were successful. Successful applicants are further advised to proceed with the next step, which involves printing their official invitation letter from the same portal. This notification serves as a vital update for aspiring candidates, ensuring they are well-informed about the process and enabling them to take the necessary actions accordingly.
As part of the recruitment process, a Computer-Based Test (CBT) has been scheduled to take place on Thursday, 18th May 2023, simultaneously across all states. It is imperative that all applicants adhere to the directive to be present at their designated centers no later than 6:30 am for accreditation purposes.
In addition, applicants are required to bring both the original and photocopies of their identification documents.
Accepted forms of identification include the National Identification Slip (NIN Slip), International Passport, Voter’s Card, or Driver’s License. This step ensures that the applicants’ identities can be verified accurately during the examination.Furthermore, it is essential for applicants to carefully adhere to and comply with the information outlined in their respective invitation letters.
