
After a two-year battle in court with the Nigerian police force, Social media activist VeryDarkMan announces that the criminal case filed against him by the Nigerian police force has been dismissed by the court.
The Nigerian police force brought charges against Very Dark Man for allegedly appearing in the force’s uniform, and following an investigation, he was arraigned in court in 2024.

Announcing the conclusion of the legal battle, Very Dark Man shared a series of posts on his social media pages, writing, “It is with great pleasure to announce to you all that the battles are all over, the case has been struck out for lack of evidence.” The activist also shared that the charges brought against him are “a criminal offense punishable by 2-5 years.”:
“After 2 years of battling in court with the Nigerian police over the charge that I wore a Nigerian police uniform, therefore impersonating the Nigeria police, a criminal offence punishable by 2-5 years.
” It is with great pleasure to announce to you all that the battles are all over; the case has been struck out for lack of evidence, and therefore I have been honorably discharged and acquitted.
