Nollywood actor Timini Egbuson was recently featured in a vibrant street interview with Daniel of Samai Connect, following an energetic and lighthearted night of club-hopping in London.
The pair first stopped by Piranha London and Reign before stepping outside Reign Showclub for a quick tête-à-tête. There, Timini shared his thoughts on failure, God, and, of course, staying rich.
Samai Connect is a popular content creator and luxury concierge host known for interviewing entrepreneurs, founders, and professionals in elite spaces, which makes it all the more fitting for one of the “biggest actors in Nigeria” to make a glorious appearance. Before that, talked about money, on failure, according to Timini, “The truest lessons come from actual, pure failure. If God wants to teach me a lesson, He mostly teaches me through failure.”
He went on to explain that failure comes in different forms and often carries life’s most valuable lessons.
“Every day, it comes in relationships, it comes in failed friendships, it comes in different things. The truest lessons come from actual, pure failure. If God wants to teach me a lesson, He mostly teaches me through failure. And every time that I learn that lesson, I become better.”

What’s the Largest Amount of Money Timini Egbuson Made in One Year?

It wouldn’t be a complete episode of Samai Connect without talking about money.
Daniel took the opportunity to ask about Timini’s earnings, and according to the actor, the most he has earned in a single year is about $400,000.
This likely comes thanks to a rich filmography, influencing deals, several movie projects, and possibly other undisclosed businesses.
Timini also shared a nugget of wisdom for entrepreneurs, saying:
“One of the mistakes that most entrepreneurs make, people in general make, is that they get stuck in their ways. I like to learn and unlearn.”
What If Timini Lost His Wealth and Network?
When asked about losing his wealth, connections, and everything he has built, the actor shared a surprisingly positive outlook that, simply put, translates to there is only one Timini Egbuson.
Reflecting on life’s setbacks and challenges, he said:
“Things that could have killed me, but my God in heaven kept me. I don’t believe in absolute failure. And sometimes God just wants to humble you. You want to take all the pride, you want to take all the glory, and you want to believe that it’s because of your power or your might. And He just wants to put you back down to that level, so that you remember that He’s God. And then He will take you back up.”
For Timini, failure is not the opposite of success; it is often the lesson that prepares you for the next level.
