Femi Otedola grins as he receives a nostalgic gift from his daughter, Temi Otedola

Femi Otedola was all smiles as he unboxed a nostalgic gift from his daughter, Temi Otedola, who recently tied the knot with afrobeat singer, Mr. Eazi. Before he got to the gift proper, he opened an adorable note that read:

“No matter how hard it gets, at least you don’t have ugly children.”

He opened the box, which contained an Ayo, also known as Ayo Olopon, a traditional Yoruba strategy board game from Nigeria played by two players using a carved wooden board with 12 holes and 48 seeds or pebbles. In fact, for children from lower-class homes, twelve holes are dug in the ground, and the pebbles are different-colored stones.

These traditional materials are quite different from the ones Temi Otedola gifted her billionaire father. In true billionaire fashion, the board seemed to be made of marble, and the pebbles from gold and silver balls. Although it wasn’t confirmed to be actual gold, Femi Otedola did comment on the material his Ayo was made from:

“This is made of diamond, innit? Not like the local one.”

He went on to fiddle around with his new gift before declaring it was “his game” and “no one ever defeat him in it,” before going on to share his appreciation with Temi Otedola:

“Temi, thanks love, you know how to serve papa’s heart. This is priceless.”

DJ Cuppy Surprises Femi Otedola With Giant Replica of His New Book for His 63rd Birthday

DJ Cuppy gifted her father a giant replica of his recently released book, Making It Big, in celebration of his 63rd birthday. This comes just a day after Femi Otedola shared the Ayo game set he received from Temi Otedola. This might also hint that the sibling rivalry between the Otedola sisters is in full season. With Cuppy’s recent birthday, Femi Otedola’s birthday, and of course the Yuletide season, it certainly feels like “gift season” in the Otedola household.

The card that accompanied Cuppy’s gift read:

“It takes a legend like you to raise a legend like me.”

With over a billion dollars to spend, one would think the popular saying, “What do you gift a man that has everything?” applies — but with Femi Otedola and the Otedola sisters, they have shown time and time again that while it’s not things that matter, sometimes it’s worth splurging once in a while.

Femi Otedola shook the internet on the 16th of September when he bought matching customised Ferraris for his daughters, DJ Cuppy, Temi, and Tolani. At the time, the total amount a Ferrari Portofino cost was $218,750 (84,323,750.00 Nigerian Naira). On why he spent a whopping £810,000 on Ferraris for his girls, he said:

“Let them enjoy their lives”

What happened to the Ferraris?

Well, while DJ Cuppy has retired her pink Ferrari as a symbolic gesture to embrace a new era in her life, her sisters, Tolani Otedola and Temi Otedola — who are notoriously more reserved and private than her — have barely shared or given updates.

DJ Cuppy’s Birthday Gift
DJ Cuppy has been on both ends of giving and receiving expensive gifts; however, on the receiving end, Florence Otedola hasn’t been shy about receiving and even requesting lavish presents from her billionaire father. After receiving a cottage worth billions from her father a couple of birthdays ago, for her most recent birthday, which was on 11 November 2025, she shared Femi Otedola’s reaction when she requested a £70 million mansion as her birthday gift.

Tolani Otedola’s Gifts
In between doing music and enjoying a low-key life behind the scenes, once in a while she pops out of hiding to share her music and the expensive fruits she receives from family and friends. Once, Tolani Otedola shared a viral video unboxing a rare Japanese mango valued at £180 (around ₦390,000). The crazy expensive mango gift was reportedly from a friend who knows her love for exotic fruits. She followed this with a £150 Japanese crown melon, which was also gifted by a friend.

Temi Otedola
Temi Otedola gives fans a glimpse into her lavish life, showing off her vacations, lifestyle, and also her life as a fashion model and entrepreneur via her TikTok channel, which she terms “What if I recorded myself forever.” From diamonds to designer items, lush sheets and bags, once in a while, fans get to see the gifts she receives from her father, Femi Otedola, from the other Otedola sisters, and from her husband, Mr. Eazi.
For her wedding, Mr. Otedola shared marriage advice with the couple and presented them with a copy of his newly launched book, Making It Big. Temi Otedola also received other gifts at her wedding, including a diamond ring from her husband.
